Oakshed have worked with Lucy Jo Brown for nearly 15 years, first being introduced at Falmouth College of Arts (now Falmouth University) whilst both studying there: Graphic Design degree and Photography Post Grad respectively. We have worked on many collaborative photographic and design projects over the years.
‘The New River’ Exhibition
This project was for an exhibition that Lucy held of her own photographic work – a yearlong photographic study of the New River from its source at Chadwell Spring near Hertford to its end point in Islington, London. Bringing clean drinking water from the rural springs to city homes, the pastoral to the urban, for over 400 years. The images were exhibited at venues along the river’s route, from the M25 to Islington.
